Ballet and Pilates workout

The ballet workout is a special blend of ballet fundamentals, strength and conditioning training and stretching. This unique combination of ballet and fitness exercises works the entire body. The training effect is created by the high number of repetitions of each exercise. Posture and body awareness are improved. The focus here is primarily on the shoulders, arms and core muscles. Strength endurance and coordination skills are additionally trained and the entire body is stressed in a variety of ways. All exercises flow into one another at a calm pace - the most important thing is clean execution and not how fast you are. What looks effortlessly easy on a ballerina is more than sweaty. If you're expecting a leisurely workout, you've unfortunately lost out - because it gets really strenuous here.

We now combine the ballet workout with Pilates. Pilates is a method of strengthening the deep muscles that are responsible for maintaining posture. The deep muscles are the core muscles located between the ribs and pelvis and around the spine (abdominal, pelvic floor and back muscles). They form the body's energy center, which allows us to be stronger and more stable. Pilates is also a discipline that allows us to improve our knowledge of our own body, its strengths and limitations in order to use it more intelligently.
